Who we are

Every individual deserves a path forward

At Kalpvruksh Pratishthan, we believe every individual deserves access to opportunities that can transform their life — in education, skill development, sustainable agriculture, or health awareness.

As a nonprofit, we empower communities by creating meaningful opportunities that enable students, women and farmers to achieve self-reliance, financial independence and social mobility. We work closely with underserved students to provide mentorship, scholarship support and skill-based training.

Recognizing the vital role of agriculture in rural livelihoods, we support farmers with sustainable practices, government scheme linkages and climate-resilient techniques. Our environmental work focuses on soil and water conservation, wetland restoration and afforestation to promote ecological balance.

"Real change begins at the grassroots level — by breaking down barriers to education and economic opportunity, and building a self-sustaining ecosystem where every individual can thrive."

Our story

The journey of Kalpvruksh Pratishthan

2020

A field study that changed our direction

Our founders, Bhagyashri Jamadar and Lakhan Mali, come from rural, agricultural backgrounds. During a 2020 field study in remote areas, they witnessed firsthand the struggles students, women and farmers faced in accessing quality education, healthcare and sustainable income.

The turning point

A girl who had to drop out of school

Meeting a young girl forced to leave school due to financial constraints proved to be a defining moment. Her story wasn't unique — countless students lacked guidance toward higher education, women had limited economic opportunities, and farmers faced growing challenges from outdated practices and climate change.

2022

Kalpvruksh Pratishthan is formally established

What began as mentorship for rural students and scheme-linkages for farmers grew into a formal organization — expanding the mission to include women's entrepreneurship, environmental conservation and community-led development.

In their words

Hear from the founders

Growing up in an agricultural family, I witnessed both the resilience and hardships of rural life. Education transformed my own journey, and I believe it is the most powerful tool to uplift individuals and communities. Through Kalpvruksh Pratishthan, we are creating pathways for students, women, and farmers to achieve self-reliance and dignity.

By integrating education, skill development, and environmentally sustainable agriculture, we are building a foundation for a better future.
